The Rental Market in Peverell

Peverell has always been seen as one of Plymouth's top residential areas and it has proved popular in both the sales and rental markets. Over the last 12 months I have been talking a lot about the sales market within Peverell and I now wanted to start sharing more information about rentals and in this post I wanted to talk about how Peverell has been performing and growing over the last 12 months. 

Our lettings department has reported a rise in rental figures being achieved over the last 12 months and they have informed me  that properties in Peverell are often let agreed within the first 14 days of coming to the market. 

We have seen a tremendous demand for rental properties in Peverell from 1 bedroom flats to 4 bedroom houses. Sue Osborne commented to me that "Peverell has always been seen as a popular area and this has certainly been the case with us here, we have so far let agreed numerous properties in January and February, more in Peverell than any other residential area of Plymouth. It just proves how popular the Peverell postcode is."

We have started marketing this 4 bedroom family home in Torr View Avenue for a Guide Price of £220,000 - £230,000.

There have been a few comparable sales in the road at similar prices so I would suggest that this property is a good price in the current market.

Peverell Park Road Family Home back available

Having brought this property in 2015 this gorgeous Peverell house is back on the market at a price of £325,000. The property offers an amazing Kitchen/Family Room to the rear and 5 bedrooms making this a great family home.

Since they purchased the property in 2015 for £310,000 you can see they have added some lovely touches to the property into an island in the Kitchen.

It will be interesting to see if this property achieves a sale at the top price but I am sure from looking at the photos its going to get lots of interest.

A positive start to the Peverell market in 2016

So one month down in 2016 and its great to say that Peverell is continuing where it left off. So far there have been 22 new instructions in Peverell and 5 price reductions so far this year.
